The tricky thing about tipping points is that you can only define them in retrospect. Who can say which choice of turn led to the car crash or which cigarette started the cancer?
And so we stumble forward blindly, never sure how far or how close we are to the edge. So many possible tipping points. But without the benefit of hindsight, how will we know if we are at the end of the beginning, or the beginning of the end.

If we were to take a poll on what superpower people would prefer, the ability to change the past, or the ability to see the future, the result would most likely be mixed. That the future is the product of the past and the actions of today/now, which is what will eventually become the past is what shapes the future.
No story ever starts with, “Once upon a time, no one did anything at all”. Hesitation is fruitless. Regret is futile. They change nothing. Life in retrospect. All actions and inactions are what make up our eventuality. All that we have is now. And when the time comes to stop, look back, and take stock, it can only be from a retrospective standpoint.
How about we take that pool now. Comment what superpower you would rather have in the comment section and share to get other people’s preference.
…to be continued.
That would be the ability to see the future
The ability to see the future.
